A message from Thomas Paukovitz:
What is the first thing you do when you wake up? I mean, literally-- the first thing you do? If I am honest with myself, the first thing I do is check my phone. I check my email, social media, and ESPN to make sure I get caught up on everything that I missed while I was asleep.
In hindsight, it really is baffling why this is the first thing I do.
I wake up next to my beautiful wife, sometimes even a second beautiful girl (my daughter, Abigail) in the bed. I could sit there and say "Good Morning,
" I could think through everything I need to do today, or I could actually just sit there and Thank God that He has blessed me with one more day;
I have the opportunity to passionately follow him. But I don't do that. Why?
Because I have filled my life with busyness and clutter of things that aren't really important, yet my addiction to them makes them important. This week we are going to dive into a spiritual discipline that will help us combat life-clutter, so make sure to join us at 10 AM at Tioga!
Can't wait to see you there!
