Help Bensenville Family Following Tragedy

4-year-old Boy from Bensenville Dies in House Fire, Family Loses Everything

There is a family in Bensenville that just lost their house to a fire... they also very unfortunately lost their 4-year-old son and two dogs to the fire (see full story here). We are partnering with Bensenville's Helping Hands program to collect donations for the family since they lost everything. A representative from Helping Hands will be at The Anchor this Sunday during our Sunday Worship Gathering to collect all donations and give to the family. All donations are greatly appreciated as the family does not have insurance and has no way of funding the funeral.

*Updated 8/15/14

We have received information from Helping Hands that many of the needed items have been donated for the Pletz family. They are now only collecting financial donations and gift cards. If you would like to donate financially, please write checks payable to 'Helping Hands of Bensenville' and bring to The Anchor this Sunday or donate online. Thank you for all donations!
